Employee Spotlight - March 2023

Every month, we ask employees to nominate their peers for our "Living the Values" challenge. The nominations are submitted whenever another employee witnesses a peer living out one of our core values in the workplace:

• We believe sunlight is the best disinfectant
• We deliver through constant experimentation
• We care personally

This challenge was started in March 2023 and congratulations goes to Irma Luna from our operations team for being the first winner!

Value: We build radical solutions to achieve our customers’ goals

Nomination: Irma exceeds our client needs daily through determination and detailed knowledge. She knows the terminals in depth which allows us to plan out jobs for success. As a team player, she goes above and beyond to ensure clients have as little fees as possible and get their containers on time. This includes calling terminals for last free day extensions. She is active in client communication, and has caught mistakes, such as giving a client an incorrect fee amount, so we can proactively fix them. Irma is active on every account for our team and knows how to build successful jobs for clients. If anything goes wrong at a terminal (they stop accepting empty containers or anything which impacts jobs), Irma is the first person to fix the jobs and update drivers on changes. I want to make sure Irma is recognized for everything she does for our customers and daily operations!
